Mike Cotton

Mike Cotton has extensive experience in the gaming and esports industry. Mike is currently serving as the President & COO of Gamelancer since 2022. Prior to this, they founded Rumble Gaming in 2019 and held the positions of Founder and Chief Executive Officer. In these roles, they oversaw investment and capital raise, consulted for brands looking to enter the gaming industry, and managed talent and sponsorship opportunities. Mike also served as an Investor & Advisor for PropSwap LLC, assisting in sourcing strategic partners and formulating international expansion strategies.

From 2019 to 2022, Mike Cotton held the position of Founder, President, & COO at Wondr Gaming. Mike was responsible for overseeing the business operations of an esports and gaming-focused platform, developing user acquisition strategies, and managing partnerships.

Prior to this, Mike Cotton was the Director, Sports & Media at Ryerson Futures Inc. from 2016 to 2020. Mike managed Canada's largest sports and media accelerator program, assisting early-stage technology companies in scaling their business and connecting with industry stakeholders. Mike also served as an Advisor for The Crown League in 2019.

Mike Cotton has also worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Toronto Esports Club, where they were responsible for business strategy, sponsorships, and investment opportunities. Mike leveraged technology to scale business operations and oversee live events. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant for Monkey Knife Fight, President of Red Team Wins, and Manager of Marketing and Business Analytics for Saint John Sea Dogs.

Mike Cotton has a Master's Degree in Sports Business from New York University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Mike is a Certified Ski Instructor, having obtained this certification from the Canada Ski Instructors Alliance in January 2003.
