Vice President Of Business Development - APAC at GameMine

Ruth Teo has a wealth of experience in business development and management. Ruth began their career in 2002 as a Product Development Manager at Singtel, where they project managed and developed mobile and broadband value added services. Ruth was also a key member of the 3G taskforce that launched the 3G network and managed the mobile phones testing and certification program. In 2009, they were promoted to Senior Manager Business Development at Singtel, where they led the regional expansion for group digital life gaming services to Southeast Asia and Australia. Ruth also established regional partnerships to grow carrier billing and mobile wallet business of Singtel regional Open Platform to reach 0.5B mobile users. In 2012, they were seconded from Singtel to TheMobileGamer (TMG), a joint venture with Softbank and Konami, where they led the regional expansion for telco partnerships for mobile social gaming services in Southeast Asia. In 2016, they moved to airG Inc. as Director Business Development, SEA, where they spearheaded the regional expansion for mobile gaming and video streaming services in SEA & Japan. Ruth also launched telco branded gaming services and telco gaming data plans, as well as developed new partnerships with leading telcos and telco groups. In 2019, they joined GameMine as Vice President Of Business Development - APAC, where they lead the regional expansion for mobile gaming services and cybersecurity fraud protection solution in APAC region. Ruth also establishes new partnerships with operators, aggregators and mobile wallets fintech partners.

Ruth Teo has a diverse educational background, having completed a Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing from Singapore Management University in 2019, a Masters of Science in Finance from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
