Jade Yhap is an experienced professional in community management and marketing with a strong background in the interactive digital media industry. Currently serving as the Community Manager at Gamemode One, Jade has contributed to the marketing strategy for the release of the game Avatar: Rites of Passage and manages social media accounts to enhance audience engagement. As President of InteractiveNB, Jade sets the vision for a sustainable digital media industry in New Brunswick. Previous roles include Marketing Manager at ASETS-CA, where brand strategies and ad campaigns were developed, and Chief Executive Officer at Reframe Games, where leadership focused on innovative project development. Additional experience includes project management with The Black Arcs, marketing coordination at the University of New Brunswick, and IT coordination for the Techstars Global Startup Weekend. Jade holds a Master of Engineering in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick.

Gamemode One was founded 6 years ago to do things right in the Minecraft gaming space - especially doing right by our staff, and right by our players! We focus on building innovative games and bringing major IPs to the Minecraft Marketplace. We love making games and the unique challenges of making them in Minecraft! Our vibrant company culture is at the core of what we do, and this enables us all to do our best work. Our team is also expanding into the indie market, with a new division. Let’s make great things together! We look forward to meeting you. Our namesake is a tribute to our Minecraft roots. "/gamemode 1" is the command in Minecraft that enables creative mode. Creative mode was the tool that laid the foundation for us to grow into the builders, developers, artists, designers, and world-building enthusiasts that we are today.
