Karan Madon

Karan Madon has an extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Karan co-founded Gameopedia in 2009 and is currently serving as the Head of Operations. Prior to their current role, they held various positions at Gameopedia, including Head of Operations and Operations Manager. In these roles, they led the Data Operations department, oversaw delivery for clients, and led cross-functional teams in developing internal tools. Before joining Gameopedia, Karan worked as a Customer Service Executive at HSBC, where they processed international electronic payments and managed queue allocation within the team. Overall, Karan has developed expertise in data operations, gaming content analysis, quality assurance, and customer service.

Karan Madon completed a Masters Internship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the University of Skövde in 2008. Karan also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Life Science from Bangalore University, which they completed from 2003 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Karan has obtained several certifications. Karan completed a certification in Agile Project Management from Coursera in October 2022. In July 2019, they earned a certification in Process Improvement from the same institution. Karan also completed an advanced certification in Six Sigma and the Organization from Coursera in May 2018.
