Maria Oliveira Tamellini has a diverse work experience, starting as the Co-Founder & COO of GamerSafer in 2019. Maria later joined Common Sense Media in 2021 as an Editorial Advisory Board member and also became a Headstream Advisor at Headstream Innovation in the same year. Prior to these roles, Maria worked as an Entrepreneurship Consultant and Trainer at Centro Community Partners from 2017 to 2018 and was involved in Affinity Marketing - Global Engagement at Kiva in 2017. Maria founded and served as the CEO of Práxis Socioambiental from 2006 to 2017. Additionally, Maria worked as a Professor at Senac from 2007 to 2008 and held the position of Senior CSR Consultant at Instituto Ethos from 2006 to 2007.

Maria Oliveira Tamellini's education history includes various programs and degrees in the field of business, sustainability, and environmental education. In 2000 to 2002, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Technology Management from Senac Brasil. Maria then pursued a Specialization in Environmental Education at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2003 to 2004. In 2008 to 2011, Maria earned their MBA in Sustainability Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2014, they obtained an International Certification in Social Business from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. Maria then participated in several programs at the University of California, Berkeley, including the Form+Fund Program at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law in 2019, and the Berkeley SkyDeck Program from 2019 to 2020. Finally, in 2022, Maria attended the LBAN Business Scaling Program, Executive Education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
