CEO at Games for a living

Manel Sort is the current CEO of Games for a Living. Prior to this, they were the First Vice President at King from July 2012 to October 2018. There, they started two midcore game projects, Call of Duty mobile and Action Toys. Manel also developed a data science project with the Universitat de Barcelona, Jan Wedekind and Ivan Encinas which increased live game revenues by up to 30%.

From August 2007 to July 2012, Manel was the VP and General Manager - Barcelona at Digital Chocolate. There they managed the Digital Chocolate Barcelona games studio with 60+ people specialized in development, publishing and maintenance of social games for mobile, tablets and web browsers.

Additionally, from September 2006 to June 2012, Manel participated as lecturer and speaker on games industry topics at UPC, ELISAVA, UVic, BAU and Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Manel is also the CEO & Founder of Sort Capital S.L. and the Studio Director of Microjocs Mobile SL.

Manel Sort graduated from the University of Westminster with a Master of Science in Computer Games Programming.
