Zbigniew Kominek

Unity Lead Programmer at Gamesture

Zbigniew Kominek has over 15 years of work experience. Zbigniew started their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer at Hanslik Software Laboratory, where they searched for the best way to automate tests of internet applications using JUnit framework and designed a prototype of the system for documents flow in Architectural Department of City Office. In 2007, they joined IBM Poland as a Software Engineer, testing software using their own test framework created in Java, developing C/C++ based client-server application, and taking care of administration of AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux and Windows machines. In 2009, they moved to Sabre Holdings as a Software Developer, enhancing, maintaining, and refactoring airline real time booking/selling system SabreSonic Inventory (SSI). Zbigniew also automated daily reports generation for development purposes and maintained daily build environment. In 2011, they joined Ganymede sp z o.o. as an iOS Developer, creating casino games for iPad and taking part in the whole process of game development. In 2012, they worked for both Grow App and Big Rabbit. At Grow App, they were an iOS/Game Developer, creating an iOS game called Bridgy Jones. At Big Rabbit, they were an iOS Developer, working as a consultant for memory and performance optimisation as well as adding new features to an iOS kids application called Lokomotywa. Finally, in 2013, they joined EVERYDAYiPLAY as a Game Developer, and in 2014 they became the Unity Lead Programmer at Gamesture.

Zbigniew Kominek obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Databases, Computer Networks and Systems from The Silesian University of Technology between 2001 and 2006.
