Brandon McBride

Vice President of Design at GameTime

Brandon McBride has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1991, they worked as a Designer and Computer-Aided Design Operator at United technologies - USBI, where they served as an intern under the Internship/ Cooperative Education Program at J.F. Drake State Technical College. In this role, they trained on Intergraph Microstation and assisted with the design and drafting of Solid Rocket Booster components.

In 1993, McBride joined the Geo Olcott Company as a Designer, where they worked until 1993. Following this, they joined the Specialty Play Group as the Director of Design in September 1993, a position they still hold.

In 2017, McBride took on the role of Director of PlayWorx at PlayWorx, where they worked until June 2019. Concurrently, they also served as the Director of PlayWorx at GameTime starting from January 2017 and was promoted to Vice President of Design in June 2019.

Brandon McBride's education history begins in 1987 when they attended Section High School. After graduating from high school, they pursued further education at J.F. Drake State Community College from 1990 to 1992, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical & Architectural Design. McBride then attended Gadsden State Community College from 1996 to 1997, studying Parametric Design. Continuing their education, they enrolled at Northeast Alabama Community College from 1993 to 2003, where they completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lastly, McBride attended the University Of Alabama at Huntsville from 2001 to 2003, majoring in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management.
