Sabrina Piechota

Sabrina Piechota has worked in the healthcare industry since 2011. Sabrina began their career as a Lab Instructor at the University of Hartford, followed by a role as a Student Research Assistant at Hartford Hospital in 2012. In 2014, Sabrina was an Emergency Medical Technician at both Manchester Memorial Hospital and Newington Volunteer Ambulance. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as an Embryologist at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut and a Lab Technologist at Aspira Women's Health. In 2022, Sabrina was hired as an Embryology Department Manager and Embryologist at Gameto, where they managed the logics and operations of the New York lab and clinical collaboration labs in Spain, organized and scheduled laboratory experiments, recruited and oriented new staff members, monitored and evaluated staff performance, built and executed successful QC of the research embryology laboratory, created and executed laboratory and experimental protocols, maintained and coordinated study site logistics, supplies, vendors, and communication, cryopreserved and thawed both human and animal oocytes, evaluated oocyte morphology, quality, and maturation, assisted and conducted research experiments, conducted daily quality control activities, and performed all ancillaries' duties to maintain a clean and functional laboratory.

Sabrina Piechota earned their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Hartford between 2009 and 2013.
