Senior Staff Application Engineer, Reactive Flow Systems at Gamma Technologies

Jake How has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Jake started their career as a Member Services representative at Forest View Racquet and Fitness Club in 2006. In 2008, they worked at Old Navy as a Sales Floor associate during the summer. Jake interned as a Materials Team Intern at Caterpillar from 2010 to 2011. Jake then interned as a Process Plants Mechanical Engineering Intern at UOP in 2011. Jake also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Grader at the University of Illinois from 2011 to 2011. In 2011, they co-founded EscaWheel, Inc and worked as a Co-Founder until 2016. While at Berkeley Lab, Jake worked as a Graduate Research Intern for a brief period in 2013. Jake also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University from 2012 to 2014. Jake joined UOP in 2014 as a Design Engineer and continued in that role until 2017. Jake then transitioned to Gamma Technologies, LLC where they worked as a Project Engineer from 2017 to 2018 before being promoted to Senior Engineer.

Jake How earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012. Jake then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 2012 to 2014. In addition, Jake holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, although details about the institution and the year of obtaining it are not provided.
