Khashayar Ebrahimi

Khashayar Ebrahimi, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Khashayar began their career in 2005 as an Engine Analyst at Iran Heavy Diesel Engine Co. and later worked as an Engine Analyst at the Iranian Institute for Developing Engine Alternative in 2007. In 2008, they joined the National Iranian Oil Company as a Pipeline Engineer. In 2010, they started working at the University of Alberta as a Control Research Engineer and later became an Instructor. Khashayar also worked as a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley in 2011. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Powertrain Research Engineer at the University of Alberta. In 2018, they joined Simon Fraser University as a Thermal Research Engineer before moving on to Norsat International in 2019 where they held the same role. Currently, they are working as a Senior Engineer Solver Developer at Gamma Technologies, LLC since July 2020.
