Rakesh Naik

Rakesh Naik has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. In 2014, they founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Faradian EventZ until 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as an InfoSec Engineer at UC Berkeley-FICE Lean Startup Micro-Accelerator, where they developed Java-based applications and deployed E-commerce systems. In 2019, Rakesh held multiple positions at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, including Battery Management Systems Project Engineer and Industrial Engineering Intern, where they contributed to projects involving battery management technologies and CAN communication for electric vehicles. In 2020, they served as the Chief Operations Officer at Kanyathon 2021. In 2021, Rakesh interned at the National Security Agency as part of the NSA - INSuRE CAE in Cybersecurity Community Internship, focusing on deepfake audio detection and presenting their work at the AMCIS 2022 conference. Also in 2021, they had various roles at the University at Albany, SUNY, including GSA liaison to the Libraries, Information Systems, and Computing Council, Founding President of the School of Business International Club, and Graduate Student Association Elections Committee Chair. In 2022, they joined Intuitus Corp. as a Cyber Defense Engineer, where they gained experience with various security monitoring infrastructure systems and AWS environments. Currently, Rakesh is working at Gamma Technologies in the field of Cybersecurity Operations.

Rakesh Naik's education history is as follows:

From 2013 to 2015, Rakesh attended National College, Basavanagudi, Bangalore-4 (Autonomous) and earned a Science-PCME degree with a focus on Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.

From 2015 to 2020, Rakesh pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree at Visvesvaraya Technological University, specializing in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
