Nicola McLaughlin has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nicola is currently serving as the Head of Internal Communications & Engagement at Gamma since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of a Member Board Of Directors at the Institute of Internal Communication starting from 2021. McLaughlin also worked as a Senior Internal Communications Manager at Blue Prism from January 2022 to August 2022.

In their previous roles, they worked as an Internal Communications & Engagement Manager at Toyota Financial Services (UK) PLC from November 2020 to December 2021. Before that, they served as a Client Partner at Redefining Communications Limited from January 2020 to October 2020. Nicola was an Internal Communications Business Partner at Essentra from April 2019 to January 2020.

McLaughlin has also held multiple positions at Imagination Technologies, including Group Head of Internal Communications from April 2015 to January 2019, Senior Marketing Communications Manager from March 2014 to April 2015, Senior International Events Manager from March 2013 to March 2014, and International Events Manager from January 2012 to March 2013.

Prior to joining Imagination Technologies, they worked at CGI as an Event Manager and Business Development Support from March 2011 to January 2012. Nicola also worked as an International Events Producer at IHS Global Insight from March 2007 to February 2011.

McLaughlin's earliest work experience includes roles at Orange, where they served as an Events Co-ordinator, External Communications from February 2005 to November 2006, and as a Communications Assistant from February 2004 to February 2005.

Nicola McLaughlin obtained their Specialist Diploma in Internal Communication from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in June 2018. Nicola also obtained additional certifications, including being licensed as a Liberating Leadership Practitioner in November 2018 and completing the MTD - Train the Trainer program in May 2018.
