Salvador Cañas

Salvador Cañas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Salvador started their career at Grammer AG as a Process Engineer, where they focused on continuous improvement, defining industrial processes for new products, and monitoring scrap and productivity KPIs. Salvador then moved on to GERMANS BOADA, S.A. as a Process Engineering Manager, where they oversaw process engineering activities. Later, they joined Relats Group, initially serving as a Plant Manager and then transitioning to the role of Process Engineering & Continuous Improvement Director. In this position, they were responsible for the engineering and maintenance department, as well as continuous improvement efforts such as OEE performance and scrap reduction. Subsequently, Salvador joined UPC School as a University Teacher collaborator, where they contributed as a teacher until 2021. Currently, they are working at Gamo Outdoor, S.L.U. as the Industrial Director, a role they assumed in March 2022.

Salvador Cañas has an educational background in industrial engineering and production management. Salvador obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Salvador further pursued their education at UPC School, where they completed a Master's degree in Production Management in 2010. In 2016, they obtained a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from UPC School.
