Kit Shen Liew

Kit Shen Liew serves as the Head of Tunnel R&D at GAMUDA since September 2015, where responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive R&D strategies in alignment with the tunnel business objectives and managing R&D budgets and resources. Previously, Kit held positions as Assistant Electrical Superintendent, Senior Tunnel Electrical Engineer, and Tunnel Electrical Engineer, leading significant initiatives such as the Autonomous TBM program, which involved the oversight of AI algorithm improvements and the integration of automation technologies for Tunnel Boring Machines. Kit's earlier experience includes roles in customer service at The Oriental Birmingham Restaurant and internships focusing on product development and engineering research at WSL Engineering SDN.BHD. Kit holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Master's degree in the same field from Taylor's University.
