Sook Wah Ho

Head, Orang Asli Education, Yayasan Gamuda at Gamuda

Sook Wah HO, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Sook Wah began their career in 1990 as an English Editor at Preston Corporation and later worked as an English Teacher at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur. In 1991, they joined Universiti Putra Malaysia as an English Language Instructor and eventually became the Head of Language Division at the Centre for the Advancement of Language Competence. In 2016, they joined GAMUDA as the Head of the English Language Unit, where they later became a Consultant and an Advisor. Currently, Sook Wah HO holds the position of Head of Orang Asli Education at Yayasan Gamuda.

Sook Wah HO, PhD holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Essex. Sook Wah also has a Master of Science (TESL) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a BA (Hons) in English Language Studies from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in TTT from HRDF - Human Resources Development Fund Malaysia.
