Stephen Doherty

Vice President, Pharmaceutical CMC at G&L Healthcare

Stephen Doherty has significant experience in regulatory affairs and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) in the pharmaceutical industry. Stephen currently holds the position of Vice President, Pharmaceutical CMC at G&L Healthcare Advisors since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a CMC Regulatory Consultant at ViiV Healthcare from May 2021 to December 2021, where they provided strategic guidance and prepared key regulatory documents for HIV therapeutic products.

Before joining ViiV Healthcare, Stephen worked as a CMC Regulatory Consultant at Bayer HealthCare from January 2020 to September 2020, providing global CMC support for new and commercial products. Stephen has also held the position of Vice President Regulatory Affairs CMC at G&L Scientific from June 2018 to February 2019.

Stephen's previous roles include Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Mapi Group, where they led regulatory strategy and operations across multiple regions, and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Genpact Pharmalink. Stephen has also held various leadership positions at Novartis, Merck, and Schering-Plough Research Institute, focusing on regulatory CMC and global regulatory affairs.

Stephen Doherty obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Stephen then pursued a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry at Rutgers University, completing their studies from 1981 to 1987.
