Lark-Marie Antón

Lark-Marie Antón is the Chief Communications Officer at Gannett where she oversees internal and external communications focused on the company’s core mission to strengthen local communities through its content and marketing solutions brands. With more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications and integrated marketing, she has held executive roles at Hertz, Verizon, Loews Hotels and served as Deputy Press Secretary for the Honorable Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg's administration in New York City. Prior to joining Gannett in 2021, she served as Chief Communications Officer at Aura, a cybersecurity technology platform. Lark earned a Master of Arts in communication studies from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Marist College. In 2020, she was named among Ragan Communication's Top Women in Communications. She proudly serves on the Boards of New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, The Prospect Park Alliance and Green-Wood, a National Historic Landmark.
