Leon Tucker

Leon Tucker is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Talent Diversity and Development at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK since February 2021, Leon previously held the position of Executive Editor at The Executive Leadership Council. Leon's background includes founding Leon Tucker Public Relations, LLC, and roles as Director of Communications for the Delaware Department of Labor and Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County Delaware. Leon's early career includes significant editorial positions at Gannett NJ Newspapers and The News Journal, as well as serving as an Adjunct Journalism Professor at Delaware State University. Leon holds a Bachelor of Science in Newspaper Journalism from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and an Associate degree in Communications from St. Petersburg College.
