Michael Collins

Michael Collins is an experienced journalist currently serving as a White House correspondent for USA TODAY since January 2019, while also holding the position of Washington Correspondent for the USA Today/Gannett Washington Bureau since April 2016. Previously, Collins was the Washington correspondent for Journal Media Group from April 2015 to April 2016, and from January 2001 to April 2015, worked as a correspondent for Scripps Howard News Service, covering multiple states. Earlier roles include Bureau Chief for The Cincinnati Post/The Kentucky Post and Night City Editor for The Kentucky Post. Collins holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Western Kentucky University, complemented by minors in government and French.
