Luciana Barbosa has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. From 2016 to 2021, Luciana held various roles at AKA, including Senior Director of International Sales and Director of International Sales. Luciana also has experience as an Account Director, International Sales at The Setai Fifth Avenue, a Capella Managed Hotel in 2013. Earlier in their career, Luciana worked at Morgans Hotel Group as a Regional Account Director, Regional Sales Manager, and Senior Catering Sales Manager from 2006 to 2013. Luciana also held positions at Remi Restaurant, Le Bar Bat/Iguana, and Le Bar Bat/ Iguana, where they gained experience in catering sales, banquets, restaurant management, and receptionist/hostess roles.
Luciana Barbosa began their education in 1985 at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Luciana successfully completed their Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Hospitality Management at this institution in 1998. In 1997, Luciana also attended New York State Food Protection for an unspecified period, although no degree or field of study information is available for that particular experience.
