Jason Cortella has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jason started their career as a Digital Operations Intern at DreamWorks Animation in 2010. In 2013, they interned as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Intel Corporation. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Product Development and Si2 Engineer at Spatz Laboratories. In 2018, they joined BriteLab as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they led the design of a steering wheel hub for Byton and worked on projects in the VR and robotics industries. Currently, they are working at Gantri as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they are responsible for building and optimizing their 3D printing facility, developing new slicing techniques and settings, and co-designing a custom 3D printer.
Jason Cortella earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. In 2019, they enrolled in Holberton School to pursue a degree in Full Stack Software Engineering.
