Nate McCracken

Nate McCracken has a diverse work experience in the field of industrial design. Nate is currently the Lead Industrial Design Engineer at Gantri, where they collaborate with renowned designers to develop efficient lighting designs while preserving their original vision. Prior to this, Nate worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Gantri, responsible for bringing designers' ideas into reality.

Nate also founded Revision, a personal project and creative outlet focused on developing unique products for licensing. At Revision, they explored furniture, lighting, and consumer goods, emphasizing contemporary aesthetics and clever manufacturing solutions.

Before Revision, Nate was a Senior Industrial Designer at Fracture, leading product development and ensuring sustainability in the market. Nate also gained experience as an Industrial Designer at Laut Design, a branding and industrial design agency, where they worked on various product development processes across multiple industries.

Nate's career began as an Industrial Designer at Craighill, where they played a crucial role in designing and sourcing products for the company's catalog launch. Nate demonstrated proficiency in handling different materials and managing practicality and CMF (color, materials, and finish) elements.

Additionally, Nate worked as an Industrial Designer at Maxx & Unicorn, further enhancing their skills in the field. Overall, Nate's work experience showcases their expertise in industrial design, product development, collaboration, and problem-solving across various industries and organizations.

Nate McCracken obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from Appalachian State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they also spent a year at the Prague Institute of Design (North Carolina State University) as part of a studio program towards their B.S. at Appalachian, focusing on Industrial and Product Design.
