Rob Thompson

Rob Thompson is an accomplished game industry professional with a diverse background in game development and esports. As Co-founder and COO of Ganymede Games since January 2019, Rob has contributed to the creation of story-rich games, including the notable title Dark Sky. Prior experience includes a role as Producer at Wargaming, where Rob oversaw global game launches, and involvement in R&D at Riot Games. Transitioning from a professional gamer, Rob served as CEO of vVv Gaming, managing the esports business and competing at high levels in games such as Gears of War and Call of Duty. Additional experience involves production work at Major League Gaming, where Rob facilitated competitive gaming events before the rise of streaming platforms.
