Asma Akbar

Asma Akbar is a multitasking professional with extensive experience in the fields of underwriting, insurance operations, and customer service. Currently serving as an Underwriting and Insurance Operations Trainee at Safety Insurance since March 2025, Asma also works as a Sales Associate at Gap, providing expert assistance to customers. Previous roles include Brand Ambassador at Archipelago Strategies Group, Enrichment Instructor at Nashua School District, and various leadership positions at Suffolk University, such as Interfaith Scholar, Dining Committee Chair, and Student Government Association Senator. Asma has also interned as a Home Ownership Production Data Analyst at MassHousing and at the City of Nashua’s Office of the Mayor, where significant initiatives like the Welcoming City Action Plan were developed. Asma holds a Bachelor of Science in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Suffolk University and a High School Diploma from Nashua High School South.
