Greg Alvarez is an accomplished retail operations leader with extensive experience in overseeing store operations for major brands. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Gap Brand Store Operations since October 2017, Greg manages operations for over 450 Gap and Gap Outlet stores across the US and Canada, leading teams in various areas including workload planning, product operations, and omni-channel strategies. Previous roles include Director of Gap Store Operations, Retail Director for Thomas Pink in the US, and Director of Stores for Tommy Hilfiger. With a proven track record in driving sales, managing store productivity, and executing brand strategies, Greg also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from New York University and a Certificate in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design.
