Kert Rey Nikko Lumahang has held various roles in the technology industry since 2015. Kert Rey Nikko began their career as a Service Crew at Jollibee in 2015, where they carried out opening, closing and shift change duties to keep the restaurant running efficiently. In 2020, they were a Student Intern at Salusciens, Inc. In 2021, they held the role of Software Developer at Acomo, Inc., where they documented technical workflows and knowledge in a private wiki for education of newly hired employees, used coordination and planning skills to achieve results according to schedule, and developed both front end and back end website improvements. Kert Rey Nikko also held the role of Software Developer Consultant at Xiklab Digital, where they used coordination and planning skills to achieve results according to schedule, developed both front end and back end website improvements, and organized and prioritized work to complete assignments in a timely, efficient manner. Kert Rey Nikko is currently a Software Engineer at Gappify.

Kert Rey Nikko Lumahang attended Matangad National High School from 2008 to 2012 and obtained a High School Diploma. Kert Rey Nikko then attended Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2015 and earned a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology in the field of Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. Finally, they attended Mindanao State University at Naawan from 2016 to 2020 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Database Management System.
