Harshani Fernando

Harshani Fernando has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources and Administration. Harshani most recently worked at Gapstars as a Manager - Human Resources Business Partnering. Prior to that, they worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). Harshani also served as a Human Resources Specialist at American Hustle (Pvt) Limited and as a Freelancer at Holistique Business Services (Pvt) Limited. Additionally, Harshani has worked as a Visiting Lecturer at TransMind Institute of Training & Development and Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries of Sri Lanka. Harshani has also held managerial positions at Bellvantage (Pvt) Ltd, CASS Lanka (Pvt) Limited, and Bogawantalawa Tea. Earlier in their career, Harshani worked as a Personal Assistant to the Vice President - Human Resources at Union Bank of Colombo. Overall, Harshani has demonstrated their expertise and knowledge in the field of Human Resources through their various roles and experiences.

Harshani Fernando's education history is as follows:

- From 2015 to 2019, Harshani attended the Australian Institute of Business and earned a Master of Business Administration degree.

- From 2012 to 2018, they studied at Asia e University and obtained an Executive M.Sc in Strategic Marketing Management degree, specializing in Marketing Management.

- In 2011, they became a Graduate Member of the Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries in Sri Lanka.

- In 2016, Harshani completed an Advanced Diploma in Teaching and Training at the City & Guilds of London Art School.

- Harshani pursued a Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management from 2005 to 2010 at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).

- In 2003, Harshani completed their Advanced Level studies in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at Visakha Vidyalaya Colombo.

- Harshani obtained their GCE Ordinary Level qualification from Good Shepherd Convent, Colombo 13, where they attended school from 1992 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Harshani has also obtained several certifications. Harshani became a Professional Online Trainer through DAASH Consultancy & Training in August 2020. Harshani acquired the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google Digital Garage in May 2020. In terms of ongoing education, Harshani is currently pursuing a degree at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, expected to be completed by 2023. Harshani also completed a Graduate Diploma in Management at the Australian Institute of Business in 2019. Additionally, they have started studying a Bachelor of Laws at the Open University of Sri Lanka, with their first year occurring at an unspecified time.
