Viran Fernando is a seasoned software engineer and technical leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at PastBook and Technical Lead at Gapstars since March 2020, Viran has previously held key positions including Tech Lead and Senior Engineer at zMessenger, Co-Founder and Senior Systems Architect at Bewillion Group, and Software Development Consultant at I Go To Sri Lanka. With a strong background in overseeing software development teams and managing complex projects, Viran has demonstrated expertise in system architecture, task allocation, and quality assurance processes. Educational qualifications include a BIT from the University of Colombo and a BSc in Software Engineering from Open International University, complemented by a solid foundational education at De Mazenod College.
