Catalin-Mihai Ionescu

Catalin-Mihai Ionescu has a diverse work experience in the IT and banking industries. Catalin-Mihai started their career at Fildas Trading as an IT professional from January 2003 to November 2004. Catalin-Mihai then joined Banca Transilvania as a Loan administrator coordinator with IT specifications from November 2004 to April 2007. From May 2007 to April 2012, they worked at Garanti Bank SA as a Reporting and Development Professional, where they were responsible for national bank reporting, internal reports development, and system analysis. Catalin-Mihai also contributed to the development of new applications for the core banking system. Since January 2012, Catalin-Mihai Ionescu has been working at Garanti BBVA, initially as a Reporting and Development Manager and currently as the Head of Software and Data Engineering. In these roles, they have coordinated various departments and projects, including software development, business analysis, and BI. Catalin-Mihai has been involved in data migration projects, digitalization processes, and finding the best mix of SAAS, Cloud/on-prem solutions for the bank's needs.

Catalin-Mihai Ionescu attended and graduated from the Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti from 2001 to 2006. Catalin-Mihai earned a degree in Economics and also studied Informatics as part of their program. Catalin-Mihai also attended the Facultatea de cibernetica, which is a division of the same institution, during the same period. Catalin-Mihai obtained a degree in Analyst Programming with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.
