Mahmut Akten

Mahmut Akten, CFA, has extensive experience in the banking and consulting sectors, currently serving as EVP for Corporate & Investment Banking and previously for Retail & Private Banking at Garanti BBVA since June 2012. Prior to this role, Mahmut Akten worked as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company from June 2006 to June 2012 and as a Senior Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis at Holcim from June 1999 to June 2006. Mahmut Akten holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, completed in 1999, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University, earned in 1997.
