Sinan Bilsel

Sinan Bilsel has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Sinan began their career as a Junior FX Trader at Pamukbank in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Sinan then joined Çalık Yatırım Bankası in 2004 as an Fx Assets and Liability Management professional for a brief period before transitioning to Garanti BBVA. At Garanti BBVA, Sinan held various roles, starting as a Fixed Income Trader from 2004 to 2006, then moving on to become a Senior Derivatives Trader from 2006 to 2011. Sinan was promoted to Head of Eurobonds Trading from 2011 to 2016 before assuming the position of Head of Credit Trading Desk-Global Markets, where they traded Turkish Sovereign, Financial, and Corporate Bonds as well as conducted interest rate and cross-currency swap trading on hard currency. Sinan's most recent role at Garanti BBVA is as the Head of Trading Global Markets, starting from October 2021.

Sinan Bilsel earned a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from Boğaziçi University, from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Economics in English from Marmara University, from 1995 to 1999.
