Barak Engle is a globally recognized cybersecurity expert, published book author, and thought leader. Establishing the concept of a vCISO, Barak works with clients such as MuleSoft, Amplitude, Stubhub, BetterUp, LendingHome, Bond, Bolt, Kibo, Live Nation/Ticketmaster, Bebe Stores, Barnes & Noble, Cost Plus World Market, Tripwire, NASA, Nuance, and many others. Barak has compiled his observations and methods of success in his two cybersecurity industry books, "Why CISOs Fail" (part of the Cybercannon Project) and "The Security Hippie." He has his CISSP Certification, B.S. of computer science from the Israel Institute of Technology, and coursework toward an MBA from the University of Haifa.
