Suzanne Pardington Effros is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in writing and editing. Currently serving as a Copywriter at Gard Communications since February 2023, Suzanne previously operated as a self-employed freelance writer, editor, and communications specialist from June 2017 to February 2023, with notable clients including Portland State University and Oregon Health & Science University. Suzanne's past roles include Senior Communications Specialist at Portland State University (February 2010 - June 2017) and Staff Writer at The Oregonian (October 2004 - December 2009) and Contra Costa Times (December 1999 - September 2004). Additionally, Suzanne's early career includes serving as a Volunteer English Teacher with the Peace Corps from June 1994 to June 1996. Suzanne holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley (1997 - 1999) and a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Scripps College (1989 - 1993).
