Kaleb Taylor, CPA

Kaleb Taylor, CPA, has extensive work experience in the tax field. Kaleb is currently working at Garda Capital Partners as the Assistant Controller and Director of Tax since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Tax Compliance Manager at Garda Capital Partners from January 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Garda Capital Partners, Kaleb worked as a Tax Senior Associate at Castlelake from April 2019 to December 2021. Kaleb also gained experience as a Tax Accountant at Wells Fargo from August 2018 to April 2019.

Kaleb began their career at EY, where they held multiple roles. Kaleb served as a Tax Senior from December 2017 to July 2018, a Tax Advisor from December 2016 to December 2017, and a Tax Senior - Financial Services Tax from July 2013 to November 2016. In these roles, they provided tax compliance services to the financial services industry, specializing in hedge funds and real estate investment trusts. Kaleb was responsible for preparing and reviewing various tax returns and conducting tax provisions for regulated investment companies and real estate investment trusts.

Additionally, Kaleb worked as a Tax Grader at The University of Iowa from August 2012 to December 2012 and as a Tax Intern at EY from January 2012 to April 2012. Kaleb also gained international experience as a Student Ambassador at the USA National Pavilion Shanghai Expo 2010 from March 2010 to July 2010.

Kaleb Taylor, CPA, obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in 2013. Additionally, they studied Accounting at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the same year. Later, in August 2014, Kaleb obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
