Deborah Denham RN MSN, CPHRM, CPPS, CDP

Deborah Denham has a diverse work experience in healthcare risk management and patient safety. Deborah currently holds the position of Vice President of Quality and Risk Management at Gardant Management Solutions since May 2020. Prior to this, they have been a member of various organizations, including the Illinois Society of Healthcare Risk Managers and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Deborah has also held roles such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management and Certified Professional in Patient Safety. Deborah has also been actively involved in professional societies such as the Illinois Society of Healthcare Risk Management and the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. In addition, they have served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Society of Healthcare Risk Management. From 2011 to 2020, Deborah worked at Riverside HealthCare, where they served as the Director of Risk Services and received recognition as Risk Manager of the Year for 2015-2016. Deborah was also a member of the Chicago Healthcare Risk Management Society during this time.

Deborah Denham has a Master's degree in Nursing Education, which they obtained from Olivet Nazarene University from 2011 to 2013. Deborah also holds a degree in Interior Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to their education, Deborah has obtained certifications in healthcare risk management (CPHRM) from the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) in February 2013, and a certification in patient safety (CPPS) from AHRQ in 2013.
