Derek Wood

Derek Wood, MBA, PMP®, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program and operations management, particularly within the Department of State's security services. Currently serving as Senior Director & Program Manager at GardaWorld Federal Services, Derek holds leadership and P&L responsibilities for the Worldwide Protective Services Task Order in Baghdad, Iraq. Previous roles include President of Woodcrest Care, LLC, and Senior Program Manager at Janus Global Operations, overseeing significant projects in Iraq and Ukraine. Derek's career also encompasses various positions in operations management in the manufacturing sector, as well as military service with the US Marine Corps, where Derek achieved the rank of Sergeant. Derek holds an MBA in Management and Operations from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
