Susan Wright

Susan Wright is an experienced barrister at Garden Court Chambers since March 2016, with a diverse background in legal and humanitarian roles. Wright served as Director at Rights Watch (UK) and Médecins du Monde, and as Counsel for the Kondewa team at the Special Court for Sierra Leone. Additional leadership experience includes Head of Rule of Law at the Office of the High Representative and a Fulbright Professorship at Univerzitet u Sarajevu. Wright's earlier career included a role as a Human Rights Officer with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and Assistant Public Defender at Petersburg Public Defender. Academic credentials include a Master's degree from Harvard University, a Juris Doctor from Howard University, and a Bachelor's degree in English from Muhlenberg College.
