Michelle Chung

Michelle Chung is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and finance transformation, currently serving as Senior Assistant Director at Gardens by the Bay since February 2024. Previously, Michelle held the position of Associate Director at Singtel from May 2018 to December 2023, overseeing major Consumer System projects and collaborating closely with business leads on program goals and vendor management. Michelle's previous roles include Deputy Head at the Accountant-General's Department, where financial strategic initiatives were driven, and successful project management positions at Synapxe and Republic Polytechnic. With a background in IT, starting as a Software Engineer at ST Logistics, Michelle also managed significant systems at the National Parks Board and led military training management system initiatives at Mindef DES. Educationally, Michelle holds a degree in Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology.
