Crystal Lee Stone is a seasoned professional in the museum and cultural sectors, currently serving as a Board Member for Cultural Connections since September 2023 and as an Editorial Advisory Committee Member for the American Alliance of Museums since July 2023. With extensive experience in volunteer program management at notable organizations such as Gardens of Golden Gate Park and KQED, Crystal has developed and implemented volunteer engagement strategies and community programs. An alumna of Harvard University Extension School with a Master’s degree in Museum Studies, Crystal also holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Visual Arts from Bowdoin College and a certification in printing from the San Francisco Center for the Book. Gardens of Golden Gate Park is a public/private partnership between the San Francisco Recreation & Park Department and the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society (a nonprofit 501c3 organization doing business as the “Gardens of Golden Gate Park”) to jointly operate the Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Garden, and San Francisco Botanical Garden.
