Kris Finlon

Kris Finlon serves as Senior Counsel at Gardner Skelton PLLC since February 2023, bringing extensive legal expertise through previous roles, including Attorney at Law at Essex Richards from April 2019 to January 2023 and Owner/Member at Finlon Law PLLC from April 2016 to April 2019. Prior experience includes partnership and associate roles at James, McElroy & Diehl, P.A. from August 2008 to April 2016 and Beranbaum Menken Ben-Asher & Bierman LLP from August 2006 to June 2008, respectively. Kris began legal career as a Law Clerk in the Staff Attorney's Office at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from August 2003 to July 2006. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Crisis Intervention Services Coordinator at Rape Crisis of Durham from 1998 to 2000. Kris Finlon holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law (2000-2003) and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and History from Duke University (1993-1997).
