Mark Smith

Mark Smith is a seasoned professional in the book industry with extensive experience as a Buyer at Gardners Books since April 2017. Prior to this role, Mark held various positions including Book Seller, Assistant Manager, and Deputy Manager at Borders (UK), formerly Books etc. Ltd, from September 1997 to May 2006. Mark began a career in the arts as a Volunteer and Gallery Assistant at Newlyn Art Gallery from September 1996 to September 1997. Mark holds a Master of Arts in Photography, Fine Art Photography, obtained from the University of Brighton in 2006, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Editorial Photography from the same institution, earned in 1996.
