Scott Smith is the current Secretary and Treasurer at Garland Light & Power. Scott has over 7 years of experience working in the energy industry, with a focus on settlements and financial analysis. Prior to their current position, Scott worked as a Senior ERCOT Settlement Analyst for Garland Power & Light, where they were responsible for overseeing and managing settlements for nine QSE's. Scott was also a key member of GPL's software transition team, working on the move from Legacy processes to the ETRM platform with PCI. Scott has also worked as an ERCOT Settlement Analyst for the City of Garland, where they were responsible for managing methods and tools for collection and analysis with ERCOT, including Day Ahead Market (DAM) and Real Time Market (RTM) markets. Scott has also validated and settled CRR (congestion revenue rights) from auctions for both GP&L and sub-QSE's.

Scott Smith has a bachelor's degree in financial planning from Texas Tech University.
