Alexandre Baillargeon

Alexandre Baillargeon is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in aviation and embedded systems. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Garmin International since June 2015, Alexandre specializes in safety-critical systems for panel mount avionics, contributing to key features such as the Terrain Awareness Warning System (TAWS) and Reactive Windshear. Previous positions include Navigation Software Engineer at FlightSafety International, where Alexandre engineered datalink communications and simulated aircraft navigation instruments, and a Flight Testing Engineering Intern at Cessna Aircraft Company, focusing on software test case development. Alexandre also gained valuable experience as a Nacelle/Thrust Reverser Intern at NORDAM, and earlier roles included co-owning a software development firm and working as a software developer for various companies, including Facebook and PDG+Creative.
