Joe Moore

Joe Moore is a seasoned software engineer with over two decades of experience in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as a Technical Lead Software Engineer at Garmin International since February 2010, Joe oversees development team planning, system architecture design, and solution implementation for projects across Fitness, Fleet Management, and Consumer Automotive sectors. Prior to this role, Joe held positions at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications as a Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included leading embedded software projects, and at Ericsson Mobile Phones as a Staff Software Engineer, enhancing and developing mobile handset applications. Joe's career began as a Software Application Developer at Applied Research Associates, Inc., focusing on modeling and simulation applications for the Department of Defense. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History from East Tennessee State University.
