Joseph Hartnett

Joseph Hartnett served as the interim president and chief executive officer of Sparton Corporation from February 2016 to March 2019. Prior to that, he served as president and chief executive officer of Ingenient Technologies from 2008 to 2010. He joined the software development company in 2007 as its chief operating officer. He was the chief financial officer for U.S. Robotics Corporation from 2000 to 2001 and went on to lead the company as president and chief executive officer from 2001 to 2006. Prior to U.S. Robotics, he was a partner with Grant Thornton LLP, where he served for more than 20 years in various leadership roles.

Hartnett is a former director of Ingenient Technologies Inc., and U.S. Robotics Corporation. He also served as a director of Crossroads Systems, Inc. from 2011 to 2013.

Hartnett is a licensed certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
