Kent Jacob Codilla

Kent Jacob Codilla is an experienced mechanical engineer with a focus on the design and development of consumer electronics, particularly in the marine sector. Since February 2018, Kent has served as Team Leader of Mechanical Engineering at Garmin, overseeing a team dedicated to marine consumer electronics products. Previous roles at Garmin include Technical Lead and Senior Mechanical Engineer, where contributions included mentoring engineers and leading product designs such as autopilots and multi-functional displays. Kent's experience also encompasses a position at ThinKom Solutions, Inc., specializing in antenna systems, as well as multiple engineering and training roles during earlier employment and academic pursuits at UC Irvine, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
