Richard Vester

Richard Vester is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading teams and developing advanced software solutions. As a Software Engineering Manager at Garmin International since February 2013, Richard has successfully directed the design and implementation of low-level platform software for vehicle infotainment units and has overseen the development of tuner and audio systems. Richard's leadership includes monitoring team productivity, conducting performance evaluations, and mentoring new associates. Prior to Garmin, Richard held the position of Senior Software Engineer at L-3 Communications, where expertise was applied in designing antenna pointing and radio frequency equipment control functionalities. Richard holds a Master's degree in Embedded Systems Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Utah State University.
