Syed Ahson currently holds the position of Product Strategy and Systems Architecture at Garmin since March 2025, specializing in Edge AI and Advanced Sensing. Prior to this, Syed served as the Head of Engineering at Bosch from April 2019 to December 2024, leading multidisciplinary product engineering teams and overseeing the successful delivery of key automotive gateway solutions to General Motors and Stellantis. At Panasonic Automotive North America, from September 2014 to February 2019, Syed managed a global development team that generated significant revenue and savings through advanced telematics platforms and services. Syed’s earlier roles include Service Architect at qbeats inc, Technical Lead at BlackBerry, Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, and various positions at Motorola Mobility. Syed holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
