Taylor Verett is a highly experienced technical lead software engineer at Garmin, having served since September 2013. In this role, Taylor has led software development for various helicopter and fixed-wing airframe OEM customers. Prior to this position, Taylor was a senior software engineer and an aviation software engineer focused on airframe custom OEM projects. Taylor's earlier experience includes serving in the United States Air Force from May 2010 to September 2013 as a training officer, responsible for maintaining aircrew training for over 65 military pilots, and as a pilot managing an $88.4 million mobility asset in operational missions. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy and a pilot license in tanker and airlift from specialized undergraduate pilot training.
